We had a lovely visit from one of our elders this evening, about Ant and I becoming full church members in the new year. I'm very excited about it - we attend a small church, faithful and friendly and, as my health improves and I learn to drive, I'm very much looking forward to being a bigger part of serving there.

If I may be so bold as to ask for your prayers for our little fellowship - we're still praying for the right man to replace our pastor who retired a couple of years ago now.

Could you use a nearly 50-year-old Yank from Minnesota?
Having a pastor come in is something that needs much prayer, all the way around. Praying for wisdom, patience, and discernment is so important. Also a loving boldness is needed to be able to ask all the difficult questions.
I went through this whole process with my church as an elder, and my church ended up splitting. Long and painful part of my life now.
I'll be gald to ask the Lord to fill you all with His Spirit and wisdom.
My study this morning included Jer 3:15 'I will give you shepherds according to My heart, who will feed you with knowledge and understanding'. I will pray that the shepherd for your church will come along soon.
